Overview

Spongelar is the meta-form of Spongely. Thanks to its newly-developed arms is able to move around a bit more easily, which came in handy for its ancestors in case they needed to haul themselves out of a drying-up tide pool back to the ocean. It absorbs mud and detritus from the substrate and squirts it out as a distraction when it is attacked. Its foam is non toxic, but can sting if it gets into your eyes.
