Kraaspine is the meta-form of Kraaster. Its body is well protected by an array of spines which inject a potent neurotoxic venom. It will leap on top of its prey, trapping the victim in an iron maiden of spiny venomous limbs. However, smaller victims are merely siezed and torn apart by its pincers. Its exoskeleton is coated with a waxy layer that allows it to hunt during the day without desiccating, though it's still mostly active at night.
